1939, two young architects, Fred Louis and A. Read Henry,
entered a design competition for housing. They won the competition,
and the rest, as they say, is history. The two partners went
on to found what has become one of the most enduring and productive
architecture firms in Kentucky. . . Louis & Henry Group
Through
the years, the firm prospered and grew. More competitions
were entered. More commissions were won. More architects
joined the team. And throughout the state and the U.S.,
Louis & Henry Group made its mark on the architectural
landscape.
True
to the original philosophy, every Louis & Henry building
is design with integrity, purpose, and originality - municipal
and university facilities, libraries, museums and theaters,
corporate and government, and of course housing.
Louis
& Henry is still guided by three visionary men, still
designing with the same innovative spirit. But now a fully
integrated firm offering total solutions including design,
construction management and property development.
