The University
required a design that solved the unique space-use problems presented
by chemistry, physics, biology, psychology and related life sciences
studies. |

Design
Solution:

The
objective of this 65,000-square-foot project was to mark the Universitys
new quadrangle with a significant academic structure expressive in
design and function, which would establish the character for additional
campus buildings yet to be designed and built. The
need for laboratories, classrooms, lecture theaters, research facilities
and faculty offices is filled by this totally integrated academic
edifice. |

Details:

Externally,
the concrete and brick construction complements older campus buildings,
while giving the physical and visual impression of a modern progressive
University. |
