| The
program requirements were accomplished by lowering the main arena
floor 10 feet and adding new retractable and trail-er-mounted seats.
A new highly sound-absorbent ceiling, computerized lighting system,
concert-quality sound system and extensive acoustic treatment, and
a new scoreboard were included in the arena renovation. The
project also included upgrading locker rooms and dressing facilities,
and constructing new and expanded space for the University’s
various support programs including 15 glass-enclosed private boxes.
Additional space renovation included new public restroom and concession
areas, VIP lounge and show manager’s suites for exhibition
and convention activities, and modernization of the first and second
level concourses to enhance exhibition utilization. |
